I’m just idly watching since I’ve only seen 3 1/2 movies with nominations. So of course I’ve been looking at dresses. Some lovely gowns; overall people are dressing conservatively. Didn’t need to wonder how they stay in place!

I usually make a point to watch all the nominated movies but this year life got in the way and I’ve only seen 8. But I like how the awards are going so far.

I love documentaries. I used to drag the kids to them all the time. Remember the spelling bee one, Spellbound? Or Mad Hot Ballroom? We loved those.
I wish I even understood why that song makes me cry every time. It’s beautiful, sonically, and is so perfect for the movie. It’s sad but also hopeful. Gosh, I just love it.
