Uhhhh. I log onto Bearfacts and the first thing I see on the front page is this in all red letters:

“Our records indicate that you are not officially registered on the Campus which will prevent you from being able to access campus services.
Please ensure that (1) you are enrolled in at least one class, (2) at least 20% of your registration fees have been paid, and (3) you have no active blocks on your registration.
Remember that emergency loans for registration fee payment are available at 223 Sproul Hall.”

Does anyone else see this? I’m freaking out but am hoping that’s only showing up because I haven’t paid the first installment by Aug 15 yet. I’m already enrolled in 5 classes and I don’t have any “active blocks” on my registration.

Can someone just reassure me that I’ll be okay?

I see the same thing. I’m a Regents and Chancellor Scholar with basically a full ride, so I have not “paid”, as the financial aid amount has not yet been transferred to all the departments that have sent out bills. We should be fine.

it must just be messed up right now. my august 15 payment has shown up on cars, i have all my classes, and no blocks, but i have that message too

everything is fine. it’s normal. it always has that message up for people whenever their payment has not fully been processed yet. don’t worry…i had that message there for the first couple weeks of school last year. it’s not a big deal. the way it will most affect you…you won’t be able to get your class pass for the bus until the money situation is squared away.

i have that too, i accepted loans and scholarship a week ago, shouldn’t this pay off the payment that’s due aug 15th automatically, does the process take this long

It showed up on my bearfacts that I was not registered on campus. First time I freaked out and called my parents. Then I realized it was because I didn’t pay the school yet. Basically as long as you pay your fees, it will go away. Sometimes the system screws up too, so even though you are registered, it shows unregistered.
