out of state thread

there is also a Versailles, Indiana (I think, if Meg Cabot is correct) and they pronounce it ver-sales (again, if Meg Cabot is correct).

And why do they have to wait so long to send OOS?

Because they CAN!

Couldn’t resist…

dahhh so many more days of waiting that means =(

so, if i live in PA, is it reasonable to expect something tomorrow??

ahhhh freaking out!!!

Luv2swim1031, to put it basically, no.

Read posts above to understand why :p

booooo :(

im depressed now.

If I am a virginia resident and applied IS but I live OOS does that mean my decision was sent out last week or it will be sent out with the other OOS decisions?

I guess I’ll just assume it is going out with the OOS because I haven’t gotten my rejection or acceptance yet… :x bummer.

:( Ughhhhh… last day of mail I’ll get is this Friday before I’m away for 9 days. I was REALLY hoping to have the week to ponder about colleges and I was really hoping to find out w&m b/c I just have no clue if I’ll get in OOS or not making the said pondering difficult.

tettona, I got my Wellesley today too, that made me feel better about that lack of w&m envelope lol, but I’m still so anxious!

Hahah same for me–accepted to Wellesley today! So excited–I love W. :)

Still nothing in NC from W&M, though. And apparently there are still a few days to wait…

it seems like a lot of the girls applying to W&M and Barnard also apply to Wellesley. Or it just seems like that on the boards for those two colleges

zafoafo, thank you for calling. Looks like the earliest S might hear in NYC is Saturday…I HOPE it’s Saturday and not Monday…aarrgghh, the waiting…

Thanks for calling,

I think i turned into Pavlov’s dog for a while…

every time i heard the mail truck come by, i started salivating and running to the door to check for the WM packet :p

i totally agree with you, kmass

aw shucks you guys. It was nothing.

Hey guys, Just popping in from IS. My friend, who lives IS but goes to school OOS has been flipping out because she’s yet to hear from W&M. However, her parents called today and they said the letters were mailed today, so those who live close could start hearing as soon as tomorrow!! Good luck to everybody! fingers crossed

hopefully that’s true ^^^^
I’m freaking out up here in New Hampshire

Really?! I’m not sure if that makes me happy or sad. I’m drowning in a sea of ignorant bliss right now and it’s hard to say if I want the canoe to approach because, though I may be pulled onboard, there’s a great chance that I will just be thumped over the head with an oar. See what senioritis has done to me? I could be doing homework or writing my 10 page research paper, but instead I am creating redonkulous metaphors.

Thanks for the news bad1017.
i’m in the same situation as your friend, so it’s good to hear something.

Just kidding. I’m already a W&M student from OOS. I remember how anxious I was at this point in March when I was waiting on my letters, keeping one eye on the mailbox and the other on these forums to see when the first letter was received by an applicant from each of my schools. With those memories still fresh in my mind, I couldn’t resist toying with you just a little. Anyway, before you go out hounding the postman tomorrow (and then every day for the next week), I just wanted to congratulate all of you. The fact that you even considered applying to W&M is a testament to your stellar academic and extracurricular achievements, and I hope to see many of you here on campus next year.

Wait, so there not being mailed Thursday?

They alreay mailed them out??
