Does anyone else have this program in there high school? Basically what they do is they take attendance, help the class stretch, and take equipment out during the gym class. In our school you start doing it in 10th grade and you do it up through 12th. I was just wondering if anyone else knows about this program or is involved in it.

i did it in middle school
in high school they dont care

My high school doesn’t have that. When I took P.E. my freshman year, I was a teacher-approved P.E. skipper. Not only did my awesome teacher let me skip P.E., but he also nominated me to be an ambassador! In fairness to myself, I was doing computer work during the time and did have to write 5 essays about sports in order to get a 100% A in the class. I guess you could call me a typical nerd lol.

Looking back on things though, I regret skipping out on P.E.

lol PE leader, thats funny

I think it would be embarrassing to be the P.E. leader lol. All my friends would probably tease me if I had the position lol.

at our school, you can get .5 credits towards the 1.5 credits of P.E. needed to graduate for each semester you t.a. for one of the gym teachers during your Junior and Senior years.

We had that at my school. You had to take a class on in for all of junior year, and then senior year you were actually a PE Leader. Maybe its a Chicago thing, cuz that’s where I live too. lol
