The last few days, whenever I go “back” from reading a thread, the forum page takes a while to load, lands on a section several days back, then eventually loads the correct view. The whole process takes about 5-10 seconds, where it used to be almost instantaneous.
The reason I bring this up, rather than chalk it up to my slow pc, is that another forum I follow had an issue very recently where (non-technical paraphrasing, here) badly-behaved “bots” were invading the forum and “crawling” the servers (maybe something to do with AI data gathering?). They had to turn off guest access temporarily to do something to fix/prevent it. Could it be something similar going on here? Or is it, indeed, just a “me” problem?

@gardenstategal, the team looked into this but did not identify a cause. Also, I am not sure this is a general issue, as I for example cannot replicate it. We will keep looking, but we didn’t find anything yet.

Is the team looking beyond desktops and laptops? I’m not having a laptop issue, but do find as a mobile issue
I’m having issues across devices today. It’s gotten worse as the day has gone on.
But at least now you know how to call United Airlines support

Following up to say, since I originally reported the issue, I’ve been seeing it consistently on my desktop (Windows11/Firefox). I don’t notice it (or at least, not as much) on mobile (iPhone/Safari).
