Panic Time????(Cornell Hopeful)

so in highschool, i had a 90% avg in grade 9 and 10, and then comes grade 11… due to my teacher being absent and not having a qualified teacher who can teach CCNA, my mark in computer networking dropped from 95 to 78. My avg. in that semester was about 87%. I had a 96% in math, 90% bio, and 85% in chem(was about 5th highest out of 50 something kids, highest was 90%). Now I also took one grade 11 course in grade 10 and got a 93%(comp. sci). If i replace the networking mark, with cisco, I have about a 91% avg. My question is should I start panicking from these marks, I am taking the hardest possible courses(enriched math) and my 2nd semester(Grade 11) courses are not that much easier, 2 grade 12 courses. My ECs are good, you can go to my chance me thread to see them, and I have some certificiations and such, in short, should I panic. What is a good mark for a canadian? I know I am in top 10% of my grade in terms of avg. so is the rank given more importance? Thank you for responding

You shouldn’t panic. Work on your SAT I/ACT and SAT IIs and make sure to apply Early Decision to Cornell. Typically you’ll need to be top 5 to 10% in your graduating class to be a competitive applicant at Cornell.
