<p>Can someone with past experience or inside knowledge comment on the importance of parents particpating in the Foundation Fellows Interview Weekend? If one or both parents cannot participate, will this necessarily reflect negatively on the student?</p>
<p>Definitely not a mark against the student, but if you can go it’s well worth the time. They do a great job selling the parents just as much as the students and have a full schedule laid out for parents to keep them busy while the students do their interviews. I’ve seen many skeptical parents going into the weekend come out firm believers (particularly those who had previously insisted on Ivy-everything).</p>
