Thanks for asking about my mother. She simply has no time to talk to me (her voice is stong and she is angry with me because I would not stop my B) and B called to ask H what name they can give Zoloft to Mom so she will not know.
They took her laxitives and her suppositories away–she is frantic as has been OBSESSED her entire live (and mine). She is no doubt going to outlive me.</p>
<p>password changed. ShawWife sometimes goes into cleaning frenzy and throws stuff away and puts stuff away. After the frenzy, I have found strange things in the refrigerator and freezer including a phone.</p>
<p>If ShawWife would like to come visit, she’d be most welcome. Especially if she’d like to have a cleaning frenzy while she’s here. (Or cook dinner. I’m not picky.)</p>

<p>Thanks, sabaray. I changed my password, but my cc account is really messed up this morning. When I click on “parents” nothing happens. It stays at the discussion home page, rather than redirecting to the parents thread. All of the other links work. For example, I can go to the Cafe. But in order to find this thread, I have to search on my name. I can’t see any of the other threads in the parent’s forum unless they are “featured.” I am very frustrated right now. I guess I will do some work and check back in a few hours to see if there has been some magic fix.</p>

<p>Well Moda, it is currently pouring here in FL so you can rinse the wound. [It is still warm]. Went out to an expensive mediocre dinner last night – the restaurant had all the pretense of quality but didn’t deliver. ShawWife and MIL are thinking about going on a juice diet / cleanse after watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, which was in fact pretty compelling.</p>
<p>ok…so now my parents forum page is different. No little red star to show where I have posted and everything is double spaced. Anyone else having this issue?</p>

<p>So here is the latest that my mom has had to go through. She went in to pay the cable/internet/phone bill in person a few days ago. The lady there noticed Dad was missing, asked where he was, Mom said he passed away…whereupon the lady insisted that Mom would have to open a new account in her own name. She filled out the paperwork, no big deal. </p>
<p>Then yesterday Mom woke up to no cable/internet phone. She drove to the office to inquire. She was informed that the account had been closed so she had been cut off and that no one could come by her house to turn everything on until Friday. She burst into tears and they sent someone out to her house right away. Only then the guy couldn’t get things to go on and it took hours to restore service. Why couldn’t that have been just a billing change? Why cut off anyone without notice? Why cut off the service at all when the same address is to have service? Glad Mom is pretty mentally with it.</p>
<p>And one more little surprise…all of her prior emails are gone. I told her that they were there somewhere and to call the company. Jeez.</p>

<p>Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone. I’ve already had the nicest gift, as on the weekend my guy put in a new bathroom floor I’ve been wanting…and while he’s excellent at measuring/cutting, it was a big deal for him to DIY and kneel all day to get it done…and kind of special, because he often just farms work out (and I kind of hate having work guys around, actually.) However, I am told I still get to choose something special and entertaining since I insisted there’s really nothing in the gift department I need.</p>
<p>So we just haven’t decided what special, entertaining thing to do

<p>NM, I’m jealous. My cc is totally messed up. I still can’t get the parents forum at all and can only get to this thread by searching for my name. I don’t even see a help button where you can get somebody to resolve a problem like this.</p>

<p>NM, The contact us button is in the blue banner at the bottom of the page (on the left hand side of the banner).</p>
<p>MP–we lost all of our emails last summer. The only way we can access them now is to go onto the Comcast website and log in. Even our geek could not get them back for us.
