I simply pointed out your persistence in posting…

That was a fun diversion
I found something else fun today. Click on someone’s name on this page, then go to public profile -> statistics and there is a number of posts per day! Ok, off to watch a movie with H now!

so I have 644 posts and 383 of them are in this thread! I guess its time to spread myself around!

Hey, I didn’t say anyone but myself needs a life. But if everybody else getting a life means I move up in the standings, then so be it! :D

I’m excited, though, because both ds and dh are out of the house, two of them out of town, so I have the house all to myself. Now, I usually have the house all to myself during the day, but for some reason a nighttime home alone feels special. Wish I had a bottle of wine.

And now, I’m going to see who is most prolific on the '09 thread. I’ll get a life later, lol!

I just opened a bottle of Pinot - do you have a mac so I can send you a glass? I’m afraid that the last time I tried to ship to a Windows computer it leaked…

We are a Mac and PC family so I could be a two-fisted drinker.

I have some Jack Daniels, but no Coke. Argh. That’s OK. I’m obviously not much of a drinker.

I think this IS my life. Pathetic here. :)

Oh, and the winner in the '09 thread is historymom by a mile. Maybe that’s why she posts here occasionally – looking to conquer new territory. ;)

But I need to keep posting furiously until I become a full-fledged member at 300. Then I’ll know I have really made the big time. :)

Just make sure all of those 56 posts end up in here… not in the 09 thread :)

Great news! I found a Diet Coke in the back of the fridge. AND there’s some leftover individually packaged Chex Mix left over from Ds1’s Super Bowl party. I am sooo living on the edge.

Someone mentioned the avg daily post counts per member. I remember looking at mine some time ago and thinking how low it was. It seems I’m on here a lot more than I post here.

BengalMom (I always want to call you BM, but that just seems rude), remember that your post count is not raised when posting in the Cafe. Definitely stay put in this thread.

I will definitely stay here.
And thanks for the consideration on a nickname! I never really liked calling Barack BO either. I belonged to his campaign website called MyBO. :D

YDS – sounds like you are ready for your big evening. I have some killer fudge here made by monks in Oregon that I could send over to go with your Chex Mix. :)

YDS, you’re living large! Just don’t take and post any pictures that you might regret later!

scualum - I meant that by you pointing out my enormous post count, you were showing me that I need a life!
Will have to find something else to do with my time, I guess.

Youdon’tsay - I’m home alone for awhile tonight too - but I can’t join you for drinks as I have to pick D up later.

BengalMom - LOL at the name of that website.

Those of you with high post counts–don’t be embarrassed. Plenty of us are spending just as much time on CC and are just too lazy to post. You’re more generous! Although I have a good excuse for the past two weeks–away on business with spotty internet access. I’ve been going through CC withdrawal and have not caught up on the recent posts.

Looking forward to getting home tomorrow (and finding out what my darling children have been doing that they’ve barely emailed me…)

I was supposed to pick ds2 up from a party, but I got out of that duty, so I can veg all night. I actually just accomplished something I’ve been putting off: writing up minutes from a mtg I was at.

OK, to take us slightly back on topic: What kinds of activities will the school have for your seniors? A Project Graduation-type event? Senior picnic? What?

Activities for the SENIORS? Where does it end? Yes, each class does a project. There’s XXX school class of XXXX night at Disneyland. A BBQ. An ice cream social/yearbook signing event. Ditch Day was today (S said not too many were absent.) An alcohol free grad night at the Memorial Auditorium (usually a casino night with some theme.) There’s a 9th grade orientation event that’s primarily serviced by seniors (their last group community service event for the school.)

I’m sure I’m forgetting something.

Well our girls are out at the school play, so H and I watched a movie “not appropriate” for them (Pulp Fiction) and I had a white russian. There is a Senior Luau coming up, we are about as far away from Hawaii as you can get…
