Parents of the HS Class of 2015

@albert69 hang in there, you’ve done a great job this semester. Hope you have a wonderful visit home.

Stocking fillers:

Softball girl is doing a Maymester in Peru so I ordered a cute passport cover/ luggage tag from Etsy. We have had some incidences with lost keys so she is also getting a TILE tracker.

Bed bath and Beyond has an magnet air freshner that is also going in her stocking. Will help keep the dorm room smelling a bit fresher!

Happy Holidays 2015ers! My D is coming home from the first leg her Gap Year on Christmas Eve. We are very much looking forward to seeing her and she is looking forward to seeing her pets. And all her friends since she wasn’t here for Thanksgiving. She will be home for at least a month so we are willing to share.

Love stocking stuffer ideas. I know everyone will get headphones in their stockings, seems those are always getting lost or broken.

We did gift cards to food places near campus for older D when she was in school.

And…I’M DONE!!! I know I’ll have an A in 3/4 classes, and am likely going to get an A in the last one. Hooray!!!

Happy holidays @albert69, have a great trip home.

Excellent @LeftofPisa you must be so excited.

I’m home!

Great @albert69! Have a wonderful vacation.

D just texted me that her ride to the airport is running late and she will be cutting it very close. I think I will tell her for future trips to just use the shuttle service!

DS '15 is coming home tomorrow! yay yay yay. You wouldn’t know that I just saw him on Saturday (briefly) lol. DS '17 had an indoor track invitational in the same town and I stopped by to pick up DS '15’s XC skis. The temps around here are 30 degrees higher than average today, so no snow at all in the near future.

DD '14 is done Friday and then everyone’s home for a month. yay yay yay

Great to hear all of our respective kids (and our group’s adopted D @albert69 ) are all home/headed home for the holidays. D2 has her last exam tomorrow afternoon, and Mrs Wolverine and D1 will be there to pick her up afterwards. A quick overnight at D1’s apartment in Cincy and all the Wolverine kits (Google is your friend when looking up proper terms for offspring :)) ) will be safely home. Family makes the holidays brighter for sure!!

Four more “big sleeps” to get through here!

Almost there NorthernMom61!

Yes, I can hardly stand the wait. My work will certainly suffer this week.

I brought my daughter home on Friday and Early Sunday morning had her in the ER. She has pneumonia. At least it happened when she is home and I can make sure she is taking her meds.

Sorry to hear that @musictherapymom.

How awful, @musictherapymom I hope she recovers quickly. Thank goodness she’s at home.

@musictherapymom … Hope your D is feeling better soon and can enjoy most of her time at home. >:D< Finals week can definitely take its toll with the combination of stress and late night study sessions. I suspect she won’t be the last of our kids needing to get home for a little TLC. Maybe they’ll realize we parents weren’t so bad after all?? :-/

Nah… :-??

And the verdict is…

All As!!! :open_mouth: ^:)^

Congratulations @albert69, you worked hard and deserve the good grades.
