Another FAFSA question, Is there any cap on parental income for a student that wants to take an unsubsidized student loan?
She has 5 acceptances, 2 “likelies” and 3 unknown. We will hear from the likelies in January, one of the in April, another in about 3 weeks and the last, we’re not entirely sure. It’s rolling, they have all her stuff, but there is no timeline for decisions.
Well, after deferral fiasco with her EA reaches I am glad to report that DD just got news that she is among semifinalists for a full ride at her safety EA school. It is a long process, but at least something to look forward to.

@Ballerina016 Congratulations to your daughter, wow, a full ride would be awesome. I tell S that even though some schools he applied to may not be as prestigious as he wants, when a safety school starts throwing money around it needs to be taken seriously.

More Super Congrats to everyone who have received good news since my last post…its hard to keep up but I do not want to forget anyone! Keep the good news rolling in. Hugs and special sweets for those who have heard news that is not what they were hoping for and for those who are still waiting.
D just received a call from one of her reach schools alumni to chat a bit and to set up her alumni interview…if she doesn’t faint, I think she might just throw up from nerves. So nerve wracking and exciting at the same time. This was a nice early Christmas present no matter what ends up happening.
Congratulations to all! I am glad to see the good news is working its way around.
