@SincererLove – congrats on all the good news for your D. We too are not expecting anything from GTech Stamps - 1 per state & we are in NY. But it is fine. DS is going down to see it again next week - focus on EE & CS & will stay with a student, attend classes & learn about honors program. It is currently high on his list. Then go back to USC in early March. Otherwise in waiting mode through March!
Congrats to all getting good news recently! @WhataProcess – is there a bright side – time to focus on being a senior without all of this consuming so much thought and effort??
@socalmom007, I just looked at the Cal Poly Slo BS in Stats…so jealous, That stats degree looks awesome…maybe a future Actuary???
She’s thinking some kind of financial mathematics, not quite sure yet. The program does look awesome!
Popping in to plug the private FB group. It’s so fun to see pictures of all the kids (if you wish to share) and it’s way easier to follow/comment on specific topics. The only tough part is trying to match CC names with Facebook names, and keeping both places up to date.
@LovetheBard Cal Poly is NOT in NorCal. My son applied to Humboldt as his safety. That is NorCal. Cal Poly is Central Coast. Difference in weather between Central Coast and SanDiego is honestly not that much…

So much good news! And hugs to those with less than happy news. The stress level at our house took a new and surprising turn this week and I really feel for all the kids and parents going through it.
A special Cal Poly congrats to @socalmom007 and @VickiSoCal! Our D is sooo happy there and what a great town to go visit!

@socalmom007 Another proud parent of a newly admitted stats major at Cal Poly here. We lived in SLO pre-kids in the 90’s, a great place. D accepted to LMU and CP this week, 8 more to hear from. Oldest finds out about UCB- Haas tomorrow we think…it’s been a week on pins and needles.
@Capecodder2014 we lived there too, for two years 89-91! What a great city! Congratulations!!! We also are still waiting on many schools, no idea where she might end up, but slo is definitely a contender!

Still waiting to hear. Doesn’t look like CS has been updated yet. CS at Cal Poly is a bit of a reach for my son so I won’t be surprised if we don’t hear anything soon. For those not in the know, Cal Poly kids of dribbled out acceptances. Usually a first wave of acceptances and you might not hear till March if you got rejected.
CS has not released at all. D17’s bf is anxiously waiting, I’m hoping tomorrow.
