@cshell2 The road trip sounds fun! Definitely a good idea to do things as a family while you can.
@Mom2aphysicsgeek Good advice. I have definitely spent a lot of time looking at financial aid and scholarship information. We think we have a pretty good handle on what we can afford but when it’s time for D22 to make a list I’ll have to look into it all over again since she thinks she wants a different kind of school than S20 does.
@bgbg4us - I’ve been there a couple times with S20 but it was before my youngest was born. It’s a good 22 hour drive for us though which seems a lot longer than it used to for some reason.
lkg4answers- sounds like our children are interested in many of the same schools. Looking forward to having another CC parent to enjoy the adventure with!
This (re the BC answers) “the lowest performance was on questions focused on “derivates as functions” (EU 2.2.)” got a huge eyeroll from S2.
He is so, so glad to be done with this course.
Oh I want the old format back! Lol. Is it a sign of aging that I disk change this much? “If it aren’t broken, why fix it” is a mantra I like now!
Maybe I will get used to it soon?
@makemesmart I’m not a fan either. It’s less user friendly and harder to navigate. I’ll get used to it, but it surely feels more than unnecessary right now.
I really don’t like it! In the old format it was so much easier to just look at the whole page and see the new posts etc. So better “view” of what is going on. Now you see so little and too much scrolling up and down and clicking around. Very bad.
For us old-timers, it seems each upgrade takes away usability and functionality.
I don’t mind change, but to what end?
Still haven’t recovered from the removal of the ability to subscribe to a forum versus a thread. Was awesome when you had a child considering a particular college.
