Just popping in with update. S24 is at his ED school. It seems to suit him - has surrounded himself with nerd friends. He went in looking at a science major. Blast from the past:
S24 is now considering engineering, LOL. Friends, perhaps not coincidentally, are engineering students. Lots of library time - I’m not complaining. Fortunately, internal transfer to engineering at this school would be easy if that’s what he ends up wanting. I proposed the possibility of summer classes if needed. The quarter system seems to make things fairly flexible. We’ll see. I just smile and nod
