I’d really like to book some re-visits. But not only do I feel hamstrung by not knowing the spring sports schedule, but of the four schools he cares about, we need to hear about two of them still and won’t until the end of Feb for one.
I can’t wait to hear about the trip. Lafayette is such a wonderful place.
ha! just booked a revisit to UVM in Feb - may turn out to be not so smart. However, the date worked much better - and thought snowy campus might be prettier than mud season? Kid has no problem with cold, so that part is ok..
that adds a HUGE complication! We are lucky not to have that for this kiddo. I can’t imagine - especially for senior year.
Yep. Thinking the same. We are planning to visit Union in mid-February.
We just booked Penn State admitted student tour for mid February. Hoping it doesn’t backfire with the weather!
Trying to book re-visits but some of the same. Waiting to hear from some AND trying to get C25 to narrow down to reasonable number to revisit.
Also our plan…but details remain murky. Maybe Feb 17?
That’s when we’ll be there!
Is anyone still pending hearing from Pitt? Still haven’t heard back yet.
Good luck with your travels. That can be a tricky time to fly. But it should be nice to see the colleges in session and get an idea of what it is really like to attend.
Yep. Still waiting.
We have UMD, Wisconsin, Michigan and GT all coming even possibly all on same day!
UMD doesn’t defer BTW, you’ll get one of three decisions - accepted fall 2025, accepted spring 2026 or denied.
By contract Michigan seems to defer or accept everyone, I’ve never heard of anyone being denied.
We have UMD and Michigan too. Looks like they might both come out this Friday from what I’m reading. Our last ones until March decisions. Good luck!
Good to know about UMD. I hate the waiting.
UMass Amherst is similar, accept for fall, deny or WL. (once on WL you can chose fall only, or fall/spring).
I have one there (and my husband and I are alums) at UMD if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Really? Very cool—another married Maryland-alum pair here, too!
Yep, class of 1995, I was math and my husband was finance, my oldest is finance/accounting.
Co94 linguistics for me, Co93 physics for my spouse (though she ended up switching to engineering in grad school).
Which means we all overlapped! Small world, et cetera.
