Then why did they announce to proctors that it might come back on later in the day?
My daughter is now testing.
The AP Psychology subreddit is mayhem!
Some centers cancelled. Some didnât. Some let the kids who could log in take the test and sent the rest home. I feel so bad for everyone involved!

Love this! I have a feeling that what engineering and math majors think is cool is probably different than the general population. Glad my kid will be surrounded with others with similar interests, and heâs craved that in high school.

My daughter was told 1pm central time to say if itâs cancelled. I"m SUPER annoyed. They said the retake would be next Friday which is her last day and they day they have senior sunrise/bbq. GRR
I did not hear back from her after 12:30pm so I have no idea what is going on for sure.

I just canât fathom applying to a school you really dislike. We are in CA too and my son did not want to apply to Cal - he did not love it. Was tough for my husband because he graduated from there but my son wasnât feeling it at all.

There is nothing given for AP Psych so I think she will not bother with a retake. At least this was her least stressful test and she didnât have to study for it.
Yes, I think they will look ridiculous. 1 for NHS, one for GPA in dual credit classes, one for early college completion and then cords for other random stuff, GNHS, GPA, dipoloma type granted.

Iâm fine with cord/medals that are earned: honors, IB diploma, magnet program completion, career pathway completion, etc. Iâm also fine with stoles for things like NHS and Beta. I do not like them for clubs, sports, or organizations not open to all.

you both have a lot more programs at your kids schools..none of what you are referring to are even offered at 25s public. Beyond NHS, and the language HS, I canât even think of anything to have unless it was sports or a club open to everyone.
There are like 3 DE courses, a handful of kids take each year and no honor to it, it is just like taking an AP since it is taught be a teacher in the school 
..none of that other stuff is offered IB, magnets, early college, career stuffâŠ

My daughter did get to take it. She said it was extremely easy. She said if she doesnât get a 5 she will cry because it was so easy!

My daughter thought they gave too much time. She said she finished each section in less than half the allotted time.
