<p>Did your parents ever put you in a average class or never cared about what classes your in?</p>
<p>My parents don’t really care what classes I’m in. All they care about are my grades. They have no clue that there is AP/Honors and they seem to think that the grades are the only thing colleges take into account when you apply.</p>
<p>I took what I wanted. My parents had no bearing on my schedule.</p>

<p>Ha, my parents (well my ma) are probably the opposite. My whole summer, save a few parties, I’m booked with studying for Alg 2 /Trig and AP Euro. My school gives alot of summer hw. I’m also doing about 100 hrs community service…</p>
<p>It gets really annoying sometimes, but I guess I should be thankful.</p>
<p>My parents don’t really care about what I take. They know about honors and AP and they tell me if they think I made a bad decision, but they don’t force me into anything.</p>
<p>My parents wouldn’t LET me apply to get a job at a medical journal, wouldn’t LET me apply for a summer program, and (forget the medical journal) wouldn’t even let me get a job at the local grocery store. They said that it would “ruin the summer for my brothers and sisters.” So now I’m stuck at home most of the time doing NOTHING.</p>

<p>My dad wanted me to skip a summer camp that I’m leading for community service so that we could have “family time” but I got around it.</p>

<p>my parents put a limit on the number of AP classes i could take (3/year)…they didn’t want me to be “stressed.”</p>
<p>yeah my parents never cared too much about school when they were kids, they want me to do well, but sometimes they think i stress out too much or have a schedule thats too hard, I actually wish I had a harder schedule.</p>
