Which schools have a reputation for being party schools? Back in my day it was NMH and Episcopal but a lot can change in 30 years.

No schools “look the other way”. Liability WAY to great for that.

I don’t think it’d be a good idea for anyone to spill present day tea here.
And I suppose strictness is in the eye of the beholder.
At least 10 years ago at least one did. I had a relative who worked at a boarding school and was privvy to a lot. They left about 10 years ago (and worked there a short time so I am not misremembering far back). I will leave it at that to protect privacy of all concerned.
And 30 years, oh boy, mine not only looked other way, but tacitly condoned not so great behaviors. It wasn’t an un-litigious society 30 years ago, but concede it is much more so now…
It is possible they have all 100% started worrying about liability and pursuing a hard line in last 10 years though
