What’s my odds of getting into University Park Fall 2026?

Amazing extra curriculars

Applying EA

Alumni father

Parent of an OOS son who is applying EA to PSU and is 1000% cooler about waiting for news than I am… so if someone can explain the ā€œtest button disappearingā€ litmus test for an expected decision, I would totally appreciate it. Not that i’m going to check the portal 50 more times tonight or anything….

TLDR version: when decisions are imminent, the ability to toggle the ā€œtest optionalā€ button on the left spine of the page disappears. That typically happens around 7pm on the evening that your student will hear. The cheat code is that if your button disappears, you can log onto Lionpath using the same credentials and, in the message section, can typically retrieve the acceptance letter.

The DUS thread is there

Thanks @WeArePayingTuition for suggesting it :+1:
Ask questions, meet fellow parents or students ..
Also, last year I would present some first year or first semester schedules that would allow DUS students to pivot easily to their two favorite majors or to have a back up in case their #1 didn’t pan out, and I’ll do that on the DUS thread now. :+1::grin:

Usually it takes a couple days for decisions to be processed so they could have been input on Saturday and be received today or tomorrow. :hugs::hugs:
