Seems as though they are releasing by major and haven’t gotten to several of them yet including DUS

Accepted 11/12, nothing in the mail yet. Friends in previous years received something a few days after portal notification.

Any chance for releases tonight and the balance of the week?
I have seen a quite a few Summer acceptances from other majors but not Smeal (on fb and reddit)
Accepted 11/16, maybe they aren’t sending this year since it seems it’s been 3 weeks for many and still nothing.
Waiting on DUS in state. 4.7UW, 4.2W , IB program. Brother is a sophomore at UP.I haven’t seen many DUS acceptances. I only know of one person who got DUS Summer. Hope they start rolling out soon!

At least some, yes. But I also think it’s important to note that there are huge numbers of people who have not yet heard. My guess - just a guess and there are folks on here with much more knowledge than me who can weigh in - is that fewer than half of applicants have been notified.
campus is receiving snow this am and people are working remotely for at least the morning. If this impacts decision meetings, there may not be updates tonight.

Are many still waiting to hear on Bio major? I saw a few acceptances a couple of weeks ago.
Out of curiosity, to what extent do the they conduct meetings to discuss candidates as opposed an individual AO making a call based on guidelines?
What do they usually send? Just a letter?
No one really knows. But I don’t think that each individual AO works in a vacuum.
