Not thrilled at all with College Board this year. I was lucky my son’s ACT scores were sent in on time. I ordered SATs on October 16th and they didn’t send them out in time forEA. He was still EA, because the ACT got there in time, but if he didn’t have the ACT… he would not have been EA. College Board didn’t care, and no one to talk to. Needless to say I am putting in a complaint about them to the appropriate place. I could go on for quite some time about my experience, but this is about PSU. Good luck to all!!!

Sons application says “Your application has been updated. Please check back soon for a status update.” but is unable to login to lionpath. Says it changed to this sometime this afternoon. What does this mean?

Same! I ordered his SAT on 10/10 and PSU didn’t get it until 11/3. So not part of EA anymore.

It’s still considered with EA. I called the office after my son’s SAT scores weren’t showing in the portal. They had to manually add them to his file after 11/1 and stated it would still be considered with EA apps.
“worse” than what. If you were applying Smeal or Engineering, then it’s less competitive than that. For other majors, it’s similiar. What major did you plan on before you changed to DUS?

the test optional button disappeared for people later than 7 last night
Penn State awards $5000 a year in merit aid to students admitted to Schreyer Honors College. Other than that, merit aid is rare.

Sooo I am currently regretting my intended major (B.Arch) and I have yet to receive an admissions decision. Is it too late to switch to architectural engineering and still be considered EA/at least get a decision by January 31st?
We had that at 7pm and now at 8pm it is back to the currently under review status.
