Daughter admitted to Smeal UP fall start. We are in state. Letter was in Lionpath.
Hang in there. We lost all hope of getting into UP but it happened. Best is saved for the last!

In state, 3.93 unweighted, 4.25 weighted, 1420 SAT. 7 APs, all other major subjects Honors. This was her top choice (and pretty much the only one she wanted)!
Didnāt know reconsideration was a possibility when we applied. Would it be possible to ask for reconsideration even if D got into summer start? Not sure she wants to do it, and donāt want to spend the extra money if sheās not positive.

Lol! I fell asleep early last night. Just checked the portal! My boy is in Smeal UP campus!!! Tears of joyš! For anyone still waiting, decisions will still be coming out over the weekend! Good luck and congratulations to everyone who got their decisions last night. I canāt believe I missed out on all the excitement!
Also want to say thank you to this community. I would not have made it if it wasnāt for the caring people on this forum that gave me the the insight, support, and advice they have provided! Thank you so much for everything! Iāll still be here to root the rest of the class of 2028 on and give back to the community the way it has given to me.
