My son is OOS applying for UP DUS with 4.1 weighted and 1340 (even split). This is his first choice school.
Iāve been silently following as we anxiously awaited a decision. Tonight my DDās test option button went away so we logged into Lionpath as suggested and found out she was accepted!!! This thread has been such a help! Thank you!
Stats below in case it helps those waiting:
OOS
GPA - 4.3 W, 4.0 UW
SAT - 1390
ACT - 30
AP/Honors - 9/8
Major - Computational Data Science
College - Engineering
Campus - UP
Where do you find the lion path login when you login to see the application portal ?
Is there button or link inside the app status portal ? I am so confused
LionPath is a different website that would normally say access restricted. If your test button disappears then you can usually expect a decision the next morning. If you log in to Lion path before that you can find the acceptance letter.
My daughter finally got Lion Path to work on her laptop.
Accepted UP! OOS TO DUS 95.4/101.1 GPA
Any students accepted without submitting scores here?
OMG! So happy for you!!! I have seen you on here waiting! Congrats!!!
Also happy to hear nursing admits are starting to be released!!! We are here waiting patiently!
Yes! Watch for that button to disappear!
Anybody see a summer start? Iām only seeing fallā¦.
Do click on Students, Faculty, Staff Login or Parents and Families Login under LionsPath
Do they click Students login for Lionpath and is the user id and password same as portal? Thanks
While it doesnāt work for me yet, I believe the answer to your questions are yes
Son just got acceptance last night - test optional menu item disappeared and lions path became available (I only knew to look because of the discussion here - thanks all!)
OOS
GPA - 4.1 W, 3.7 UW
SAT - 1570
ACT - n/a
AP/Honors - 8/8
Major - Biomedical Engineering
College - Engineering
Campus - UP
Good luck to everyone!
Buttons disappear Approx 7pm est
Yes its the same logon. It will say access denied normally. Itās just meant for that small window from when your test optional button dissappears and before the decision is posted to the portal.
Letters go out around 8am. But I guess they are available via lionpath the evening the buttons disappear. Congratulations to everyone!
Havenāt seen any summer start on here yet, and I am stalking. Also, have not seen any TO for Engineering yet. Good luck!
Still waiting on my decision to come out but I want to know what my chances of being admitted to UP are. My ECās are decent (āaverageā according to Collegevine), UW 3.98 and W 4.03, 6 Honors and 3 APās, and 1380 SAT. Iām most worried about course rigor, so I wanted to hear some thoughts! UP is my dream school. Also, according to Collegevine again, I have a 91% chance of getting in but I feel a little uncertain and not sure if itās accurate or not.
What major?
I was told on this post that I should change my major from " premedicine" to bio or an actual core major. The real question is, should I call and ask to switch it in my application? Another thing is if Iām out of state, do you guys know if it harder to a bit easier to get into UP? This decision is killing me!!!
My son was admitted last night. Test optional button went away and found his acceptance on Lionspath. Admitted to Engineering for Computer Science. I have been following since early November, and it appears that the bulk of the engineering acceptances are being reported on Mon eve/Tues morning, so I wonder if that college does a weekly drop?
Now 2 1/2 months to wait for Schreyerās!..ā¦
SAT 1410 (720Math)
GPA 97.9 UNweighted
8 APs and around 11 Honors I believe
