Spoke to an admissions officer this morning. This is entirely false, they are not yet done with UP nursing admits.

Maryland is only holistic if you have over a 3.7/3.8 UW GPA, if you have a lower GPA no amount of extras will get you in.

Just a heads up, there is an accepted students webinar tonight at 7:00 PM, you can register for it in the portal.
Really? The Jesuit -Santa Clara University? 100k seems like a lot. Last year, they had 16,650 freshman apps and enrolled 1641. So unless something bizarre happened this year, that number cannot be correct.

Correct. I already posted that Engineering is a āseparate linkā and session for engineering only. I didnāt know about the every accepted student webinar. Iāll check that out as well. Thanks
Accepted UP nursing students have not been invited to this zoom you speak of.

I think for them, that number of applications would be both a blessing and a curse. I assume that is 10K early action?

Yes. She got an email saying that decisions would be soon, but while they shift through more than 10,000 applications, to please connect on social media.

I donāt care what they āmeantā - my son got the message and still NO decision. So he got in but we donāt know where (or when since he did agree to summer)? Incredibly frustrating.

Yes. But he took a class at Abington last summer so heās always had access.
