Also all the ED accepted students will need to withdraw from Penn state so that will clear more UP acceptances.

iām nervous i would much prefer a deferral then a 2+2ā¦iāve never felt so nervous
ohio state was my top school and i got rejected but i will say that one was easy because they gave a set date. kinda ripped the bandaid off fast. this is just a slow death i feel

Deferral here. OOS, DUS, 3.8 GPA (school doesnāt do unweighted/weighted) 1410 SAT, 3 APās w/ 5ās on all, 3 Honors, 4 yr HS sport and captain, same part time job for all of HS, significant volunteer work w leadership. 
Summer option?

Soā¦somebody posted on another area, that these arenāt ātrue deferralsā and this is their way of saying they donāt have time to review all apps by 12/24 promise dateā¦.based on the deferred post above, Iām leaning this wayā¦again, just my view and not fact.
I was responding to another comment on the UC applications. They have 4 essays (350 words) each. Apologies for the confusion.
It could be 3.8 weighted and it could mean a 3.4uwā¦+we know that student only had 6 ārigorousā courses - remember, THAT is 2/3 of the decision.
Who wants to hear a scary story to pass time?
