Our TO button is still there as well and we can’t login to lionpath. Sigh.
We’re in the same boat. Still have TO and no LionPath.
Hopefully tomorrow! We’re bound to have an answer by the 24th, I hope.
Based on the past weeks, there should be some released Friday night/Saturday midnight, too, but after that probably not again until Monday night/Tuesday midnight. Hoping you get an answer tomorrow night or Friday night.
My DS has slightly higher stats - UW 3.85 and W 4.2 and got DUS Fall Start. My older DS is a sophomore at PSU applied to smeal got 2+2, requested reconsideration to DUS and checked summer start and got accepted DUS Fall Start. He wishes he would have started in the summer. He said the kids that did it said it was the best summer of their lives. Even though my younger DS got Fall start he is heavily considering starting in the summer for reasons others mentioned.
If you can swing it, I would stick with what you got. DUS will give your DD the most flexibility.
So if our S25 does get LionPath access, what should he look for to give any indication of accepted degree and campus before there’s an update in the admission portal?
LionPath would mean he was not rejected or deferred. Correct? Do they ever change your major for you?
When you get access to Lionpath there will be a letter under “Communications” letting you know if and where admitted.
Good news, we got into LionPath!
Confusing news, Communications only has:
Undergraduate Application Ack.
Still haven’t heard back, but I have two questions. I put down fall as my top choice and I did check the summer box, but I am somewhat rethinking that. I’m not entirely sure what I want to do yet, but if I were to be admitted to fall and decide I’d want to do summer, would I be allowed to ask for that to be changed to summer even though fall was what I had as my top choice? I was also wondering if I were to get a 2+2 and I ask for reconsideration, would they look at my senior year grades at all if I were to add them to my SRAR? I was having major issues with the medicine I was taking early in high school so I only had about a 3.6 weighted in my first two years, but once I got the medicine figured out last year I had a 4.2 as a junior and around a 4.5 going into my exams this semester, so obviously them seeing a first semester with a 4.6 would help my case a lot.
Same does that mean not accepted?
You should see a decision letter there in about an hour.
What is this COMMUNICATIONS link or whatever? Kiddo has LionPath and there’s nothing that says COMMUNICATIONS…
Home > then some options
Application Tools > then some options
Under ‘communications’ will be the admit letter.
Rejected and deferred don’t get access to LionPath, though. Or am I wrong?
I’m assuming everyone who gets a decision gets access to lionpath, as that is where decision letters are stored. Rejected / Deferred applicants may not have the enrollment options.
Same. We are so nervous!!!
On the top right you’d see a pizza sign, click on that, you should see Communications under Academic…
Good luck!! Did your TO button ever disappear?
On your summer start, yes, you may request for it after the decision. There’s high chance you’d get it.
I believe SRAR gets locked, and in theory PSU does not consider senior year grades, but some experienced folks on this thread have advised it never hurts to send them anyway. So you may ask your HS counselor to upload them through common app.
Sounds like you did well in junior year, so that trend will certainly be noted. I’m assuming you explained your situation in the Additional Info section.
My daughter applied to the BArch program last year EA. I’m sorry to say that she did not hear by christmas eve. She had not even heard by mid january. We finally gave up and she decided she didn’t want architecture and changed her major to comp sci and got accepted two days later (although she didn’t end up going to PSU). Not sure why the architecture program takes so long to review applications.
I’m sure that’s not what you want to hear and hopefully it doesn’t happen this year. Good luck and I hope you hear good news soon!
Yes, it did when we got the decision last Friday. But we’ve been seeing quite a few for whom it didn’t.
