Penn State Early Action for Fall 2025 Admissions

Congrats!

My son also just lost his TO button and found his fall UP acceptance for DUS. He applied TO, 3.9 UW, 4.7 W.

Since the nursing admissions process is different than that of most other majors and the application deadline is Dec. 1 (there is no early action for nursing), it is likely that not all nursing decisions will be out by Dec. 24. If I were you, I’d get in touch with admissions to verify.

I saw a couple in different Facebook groups that said they did, but not many.

Daughter accepted to UP! In state. Test optional. 3.9 unweighted.

I’m confused about the lionpath link -
If we can get in, does that mean that a letter/decision is there? Or can any applicant access it? Where would the letter b in lionpath? My child submitted scores so I’m guessing there is no TO button to lose - the portal still says awaiting decision.

The TO button will still disappear in the portal. If you can access Lionpath then you need to go to the top right where the hamburger menu button is and choose communications and there will be an Undergraduate Admit letter.

Thank u. We will try later tonight.:pray:Waiting is tough but happy to finally see some DUS decisions in! Congrats!

I also applied nursing. Some people Ive been talking to got in already. I thought we were going to have to wait until closer to Dec 24, but I honestly think it can come anytime between now and then.

Thank you!

and just saying we would be fine with DUS? She wrote her optional essay about entrepreneurship lol (her current major is Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship). I may just leave it as is, she really does not want a cold weather school. I had no idea it was that difficult to get in!
