The deadline was SHC was Dec 2nd and therefore it disappeared.
Yes, MA here. My son heard back a couple of weeks ago. A couple of others in his grade has also.
This amazes me. I have never paid too close attention to the college admissions process. But with that many applications I would think they would use AI and Analytics to sort them into batches at the very least. I have no idea the size of the admissions staff but I canât see how they get through 60k applications by 12/24. They deserve a long holiday break and then some.
Anyoneâs button disappeared tonight? Nothing hereâŠanother day awaits!
My sonâs SHC button is still thereâŠ
I do think there is some sorting with TO and not-TO as I think a bunch of acceptances (for engineering) came in for those who submitted with tests but donât think any that are TO.
If your TO button doesnât disappear at 7, is there still a chance to get your decision the same night or no?
No, button is there so itâs still under review.
Did they apply? If they didnât, the button to apply disappeared.
Based on what people have posted, it has been around 7 - if still there, then no more changes for the night.
Oh okâŠso since he did apply for SHC it should still be there?
What if they changed their test-optional answer a couple days ago? It says âupdate completedâ. Would it still disappear in this scenario too?
Thatâs my understanding that the button that shows âSHC application statusâ should still be there. Only the âApply for SHCâŠâ disappears.
That gives me hope!!!
Ok, thanks for info. I guess more or less, everyone has the same process to get into their major, to meet some requirements. Do you have any more information on the Sapphire Business Honors, how do I apply, when are the deadlines, etc⊠It seems really interesting. Thanks
I donât think there are many that are not admitted. Most are admitted to a second choice campus or other campus if theyâre not admitted to University Park. You still get an acceptance letter - have to read it carefully to see which campus it is for.
Thank you! The waiting is painful
Ugh the wait is so painful! Definitely teaching us patience
Nope!
Yes, you absolutely do.
If admitted apply to Sapphire, especially if you didnât apply to Schreyer. (AFAIK Schreyer and Sapphire can be combined and you can definitely apply to both, but check with each.)
