Look for majors that donāt require calc.
You can type PSU + bulletin+ SUGGESTED ACADEMIC PLAN + (major youāre considering), click on the menu at the top of the page and Suggested academic plan, scroll down and see if during the first 2 years Math 140 or 110 are required (worse if 140+141 are required).
if math 140 and 110 are not requried would that be the best to choose considering my math grade senior year for pre calc ?
Deferral is a decision and my understanding is that last year they deferred a lot number of students.

If youāre not getting an A in precalculus, you DONāT want to have to take Math 140 (ie, imagine if the 9-month, 4 weeks a month, 5 periods a week contents of AP Calc class were compressed into 4 periods a week for 14 weeks - in other words, what they cover first semester in HS is covered in 6 weeks.) Thereās a bit more leeway for Math 110 but itās also Calculus and it also require you to have a solid precalculus grade.
Look for majors that require Statistics only.
Does anybody know if it lets me login to Lionpath does it mean a decision is about to come? It lets me login but I look under Communications and there isnāt anything there.

For those of you who can get into Lionpath, but the offer letter is not there yet. If you click on the āFind Classes and Enroll ā section, is the class schedule you see displayed for Summer 2025?

Ok, thank you. I was thinking it may be a sign I got into Summer at UP, but maybe thatās just the default.
That could be because fall enrollments donāt start at this time but summer do, so yes, it should be default. I see both Fall 2024 and Summer 2025 under enroll classes.

is asking for reconsideration for fall plus summer option different then applying striaght to summer? for reconsideration
One of my kids got his TO button disappear today and was just able to log in to Lionpath at 8.30. 9.00 pm saw the letter. He had applied DUS with summer start. Accepted to University Park. He plans to work for a Smeal admittance.

I now see a link in my communication section - Undergraduate Admit, but when I click it nothing opens, just spins for a second or two. Is anyone else experiencing this?
