This is sadly true. Ten people shouting will get more press than 20,000 peple having a moment of silence–and that will probably actually happen at that game.

Seahorses- I thought College Confidential was one of the few places where everyone knew the difference between Penn and Penn State!

Well, it’s true that Penn will be fine, isn’t it?

…now that would be the ultimate redirect. where’s mini? scott ward …child rapist…professor emerutis …minor sex trafficing paid for the the college…right up his alley. just the ticket…

Penn was unhappy before …they will need a whole new t-shirt “we really really really are not Penn state”
http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2011/11/penn-service-announcement-its-not-penn-state/44753/

Penn state…

Yes, there is the Scott Ward thing. And lots of people asked me and WildChild (Penn 2010) about the football team and Paterno years before any of THIS stuff broke! And why he would go to an out of state school unless it was for the good football team.

Unless of course more dirt comes out about grade fixing, pressure to pass football players, Sandusky and his friends, money to second mile, kids being taken across state lines and that being funded by Penn STATE, oh and Sandusky is upset of the sanctions by the NCAA…

^^ What are you talking about Seahorse? The NCAA was NOT looking into grade fixing, or any player misdoing at all. Any ‘trafficking’ etc., would be the purview of the criminal investigators and I doubt they are looking for MORE things to charge Sandusky with. I doubt Sandusky is ‘thinking much’ about the NCAA actions.

The disclosed problems are bad enough, no need to imagine additional problems.
If additional charges are filed against Sandusky (or anyone else), grading allegations, etc there will be time to worry about it when/if it happens.

<<the disclosed="" problems="" are="" bad="" enough,="" no="" need="" to="" imagine="" additional="" problems.="">></the>

Aw, but it’s just so much fun for some people to kick others (or an institution) when they’re down.

sax. Everyone sees different page numbers, depending on their preference settings. Your post was on page 192 for me, and this is page 194.

Sandusky according to his lawyers issued a statement he was very upset about the NCAA sanctions. So yeah he IS thinking about the NCAA. It was in today’s news.

My point is, there will be more dirt. Not from NCAA investigation, but there will be. Sadly.but no doubt.

And I can bet you someone is looking more closely at Sandusky and second mile. A judge was assigned today to decide if second mile can transfer it’s funds to a charity in Texas. The victims are against the transfer. So, this ain’t over. Second mile being investigated by former victims attorneys will bring Sandusky back to the headlines, along with those who worked at second mile. This is just the beginning.

From an article based on a ‘groupthink’ theory.

George mitchell has been given the tax by the NCAA as a compliance officer for five yeArs to at Penn state being given full access.

"Every PSU student should start looking in the mirror and practicing the words “no comment” in order to be ready for the games. "

Respectfully disagree. All PSU students should be busy preparing for school and their own personal goals and plans for a successful academic year.

Each student should be confident and not accept any pressure from anyone to censure speech …silence and no comment helped empower this monster. Will there will be ridiculous quotes published – sure…but no need to censure and silence the voices of passions of the PSU students. They didn’t create this mess and they have no responsibility to apologize for it.

For all college students – Keep yours eyes on the prize – working towards your personal goals and degree programs and a succesful future.

What in the world are you trying to say?

I’ll translate, the compliance officer was named today to a five year term: former senator George Mitchell. He’s been an advisor to Clinton, led a fact-finding mission in the Middle East and headed up the investigation into performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball, among other assignments according to the press.

That’s a fact. Should say task. But that is what is. Is that so hard to believe?

Senator Mitchells job will be to make sure and to help Penn state comply with NCAA sanctions and he will have full access to all things Penn state. Is that so hard to understand?

Another piece of news from today. I read the news. Its helpful.

Reading the news is helpful. Your writing and spelling- not so much.
