umm… i dont know about hairypotty, but i dont think brookly2cornell is lying. im pretty sure he applied ED to cornell, received a likely letter from NYU, and heard back early, not EA or ED, just earlier than april 1st, from those other schools. Maybe rolling… i dont know anything about those 3 others.

I applied to Princeton ED and got deferred. I applied to W & M RD, not ED, and found out my acceptance w/ scholarship yesturday. Many people w/ scholarships or awards heard early from W & M as well.

I don’t like how you call people liars. It’s offensive. Grow up. Please.

Zhonggong, I would suggest you learn a thing or two before you post such foolish and outlandish comments again. And why would someone lie to say that they were rejected/deferred from two schools? Please think next time.

I got into Harvard EA with a full ride merit scholarship (I found out last November.) I also was accepted at MIT without even filling out an application; in fact, I just finished lunch with their Chancellor. I also recieved full ride scholarships and was accepted ED into Yale and Princeton, but was rejected by Cornell EA. Oh yeah, I got a VIP e-mail application from Oxford last week, and just found out yesterday (thanks to the quick turn around) that I was awarded a 3/4 tuition scholarship. Luckily, I was selected for the Presidential scholarship which covers room board and travel to any university in the world. Right now I’m waiting for my letter from UVa.
