Pepperdine Class of 2024 EA

Can we share our stats for acceptances and denials, and level of religious commitment? Pepperdine values that pretty highly in their admissions calculus.

ACT 31
GPA 3.97 uw 4.17 w
Common app essay about how speech and debate is my platform for speaking out against injustice and my pepperdine essay about “finding God” essentially. Very much so a narrative style essay then went into how I would help others at pepperdine find their path to happiness wether that be through religion or something else.

I have a lot of EC’s and involvement with adult boards in my city, volunteer hours, speech and debate team captain, HOSA president, and a few other things.

Hope this helps! I recently got rejected from one of my top choices, I know how it feels to have college admissions break your heart. It sucks. But like others have said you will get in somewhere and you are the one who makes the college experience meaningful.

Accepted for Biology!

ACT: 34
SAT: 1480
UW GPA: 3.97
Church of Christ
Strong Leadership ECs: Drum Major of marching band and student director

Pepperdine is by far my top choice, but putting my parent’s financials into their net price calculator, my scholarships and other aid only skims about 10,000 off from their 70,000 or so a year cost … however those calculators are notoriously inaccurate, so hopefully I hear a better outcome on that by January 10th! Otherwise I’ll have to end up at a lesser institution

My DS was just accepted to Seaver with a 1400 SAT and 3. 74 W GPA. He has a lot of ec’s and leadership. He is Jewish and wrote about his experience attending Catholic school.

Accepted!
31 ACT
4.18 GPA Weighted

Extremely grateful to have been accepted!!

Congratulations to everyone else accepted!

is there a group for accepted students?

When you log into your Wavenet accounts under financial aid does it say inquiry access denied under the aid year description? I am worried this means I won’t be getting any financial aid.

My account says that as well, it’s because Pepperdine hasn’t determined aid offers or scholarships yet.

Has anyone received the admittance package in the mail yet?

@appleroadpole no not yet

Just received my package today!

Hi so I applied EA, and I still don’t know if got in or not. I never received an email and I’m getting worried.
