Does anyone know when they will release decisions on Regents scholarships?
Has anyone heard about the timeline for aid and scholarships? My parents have been asking:))) this will also make or break me going there.
This was in the acceptance letter…“I know financing your education can play a critical role in your college enrollment decision. You can expect to be notified via email about all forms of financial assistance and scholarships by January 10, 2020.”
So, January 10, 2020 should be the date.
My son just got notice that he was awarded the Seaver Scholarship. The notification came by email.
Has anyone else received scholarship or aid notifications yet?
Got an email that I received the Regent’s scholarship yesterday at around 7 EST.
My son got regent’s scholarship last night as well. Are there other scholarship possibilties as cost is still high? He is National Merit Commended, 35 ACT, 4.0 unweighted…
Actually, he got a Seaver’s Scholarship & is invited to the Regent’s Scholars program… does anyone know about this program? Looks interesting
Just received notification that my son was awarded approximately $2,500, but unfortunately it really doesn’t make much a dent in the tuition. The cost will still be around $70K a year.
Our daughter was awarded the George Pepperdine Achievement Award, $11.4k. I have no idea the range of these scholarship amounts and It is definitely something, but it is not the 30/36k of Regents/Seaver and puts the net cost of Pepperdine at about 20k more per year than the net cost of her other top choices. That’s a brand new Tesla! She recognizes the additional cost so she/we will have a difficult decision as Pepperdine checks a lot of boxes and would be a great fit for her.
Attending a local reception for admitted students tomorrow. Perhaps will add some clarity.
Attended a reception in NJ for admitted students, I highly recommend you attend one so you can get a scope of your potential future classmates.
No way! I’m a drum major too and got accepted to Pepperdine and am still making a decision but it’s looking likely. Are you going there? And where did you go to school?
That last message was at the kid on the 4th page that mentioned drum major haha
