Percentage Chance

If I were just a regular student and neither one of my parents went to college, how much less of a percentage chance to i have attending?

Your question begs context. Percentage as compared to what? A general demographic study of millions such as yourself compared to kids w/a college grad parent? But what diff does that make? What are YOUR grades/scores? Those affect the individual much more than wondering about some population’s averages.

x% where x is a real number.

We can’t answer a question like that. Going to college depends on 1) gaining admission to a college 2) paying for it.
No matter your grades, there is a college (perhaps community college) that will accept you. Also if you have great grades you may get scholarships. If you need alot of money, you may get need based scholarships. You could also start at Community College and then transfer to your in-state University.

So, it can be 100% if you decide you want to go and apply on time. If you have no support in going to college then talk to your guidance counselor about timelines and affordable schools.

I believe it is 17.693%

Pretty sure there’s a statistic somewhere on the web, just not quite sure what it is…
