Percentages. And A Question :)

<p>Hey everyone</p>

<p>So I was wondering about the exact-ish/estimated percentage of students admitted to UVa who are Out Of State but still U.S. Citizens? I really want to know the competition range and stuff. Can someone please tell me a figure? I know the overall rate is somewhere hanging around… 31% but that is combined with In-State AND Out of State AND International. So I want to know the individual percentages please? :)</p>

<p>Also, I just have a question but the Theater scene. This is of large importance to me. So I wanted to know if there are lots of student-run productions/musicals? Or if there any comedy clubs/improv groups on campus? Theater is of a major importance to me, and I want it to be a large part of my college, so if someone could please elaborate on the Theater/Drama society as something NOT part of the curriculum but more as an extracurricular?</p>

<li>Yes, there are many theater productions. There are multiple improv groups (just google and you’ll find some), but just like comedy shows in Charlottesville, they would use venues that are shared by many groups.</li>

<p>First Year Players is the big musical movement. There’s also an Opera club which is cool, and then lots of upperclass plays. You should check out the Brown College scene, many of them share similar interests.</p>
