<p>So I just submitted my UC app. stats- 2290, 35, 800, 770, 750, national ap scholar, siemens semifinalist, nmsf, rank 1, amc 12 school winner, aime qualifier, published research, xc, track, student gov’t, 4 clubs, volunteering, SSP, COSMOS summer programs. </p>
<p>I applied to the College of Engineering, but for my personal statement I did not go in depth about engineering. I talked about science competitions, engineering competitions, how I started them and enjoying competing in them. Also talked about research, and how I’m inspired to pursue engineering and be at the forefront of modern science at UC Berkeley. </p>
<p>But I didn’t go in depth about my specific major, chemical engineering. Would this be alright? Thanks.</p>
