@Catcherinthetoast , you’ve inspired me to dig out some of our pics from The Hague. Too bad you’re not in the Netherlands about a month from now—Keukenhof opens then! We were there in early April, words cannot describe.
Isn’t it a shame that those hundreds of thousands of tulips are going to be dead-headed, being grown for bulbs, not blossoms? We were told that those that we buy this time of year in bunches of 10 are grown in greenhouses.
Thanks for helping our economy! We have a ton of federal employees so I’m apprehensive about a big hit to our economy if they shrink the fed govt workforce.
Planning a couple of visits to your beautiful state and also to BC!
So looking forward to our trip in March! I hope we find that exact spot! so lovely.
Ahhh, Big Island is my previous home! Love the island so much.
Have the best time!
Thank you! Not as many whales as Maui but we’ve found a great community of locals here. Enjoy your stay. Sending warm aloha!
I hope you’re enjoying your stay. Your pic reminded me of the last time we were there, and we watched a young whale “play,” up by Maalea (sp?), seeing it’s arms go in and out of the water while it rotated for probably 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. It was so cute.
ETA - we will be in Maui next week.
The Hwy 270 on the way to Hawi is the channel between Maui & BI, we always see them there. Sometimes in large pods.
Warm aloha as well.

Oh! Have the most fun. This is the quietest I’ve seen Maui since I came mid-Covid days.
