On my run this morning. I love running up here. I saw more people running this morning than I will the next 5 years at home.
The 1000 year old Ankor Wat temple in Cambodia, shortly after sunrise. It’s hard to capture how majestic it looks in real life.
Simply WOW!!!
I feel fortunate that my wife and I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Siem Reap last week. Amazing place, and such friendly, welcoming people. There’s a lot more to see besides Angkor Wat.
Took a walk around the neighborhood to start breaking in my new hiking shoes. And of course play with my new camera (Macro scene function).
Bucket list
I am on jury duty as of today. View from the 21st floor of the NYS Supreme Court building in downtown Brooklyn.
Nice to have a lovely view while you’re doing your public service by being a juror.
Fabulous!! Congrats!
Just a quick note to make sure people in photos are good with being posted on these boards. I know a lot of us block our faces when we post pictures of ourselves here.
Casual flower arrangement from a couples baby shower dh and I attended yesterday.
Dh is usually not a fan of the concept of couples baby showers, but he embraced this one because it was held outside at a brewery. Weather was perfect! The only game they played was a three round set of multiple trivia questions. The first set of questions was about famous babies. The second was movies with the word, “Baby,” in the title, and the third set was six questions (three about each) about the parents to be when they were babies!
I visited the Rose Garden at Balboa Park. A photographer from the Union Tribune took a picture of me taking pictures. I may or may not be in tomorrow’s paper. The roses were lovely.
Memories of what May 1 was like back in Illinois. I do miss crocuses and cardinals and robins and blue jays. Although now we have year round blooms and the Point Loma parrots.
