Thanksgiving sunrise and sunset in Napoli
Just saw similar pictures of snow on the ground, except the weather person said the pictures were taken in “Terre Haute, India”. No lie.
EDIT: Kinda like when the sportscaster on the local channel mispronounces the names of local professional or college athletes—come on!!!
We are in Würzburg today. First picture of the castle is from our ship, the rest from the Residenz palace. I had no idea how stunning this place would be. What an awesome surprise. I could have photographed it all day and missed a lot of detail. Best part? It was pretty much empty. So easy to get shots without a million tourists in it. I loved it 10x better than Versailles!
We once had a TV reporter come to do a live street interview on “Crackhead Street.” Real name sounds similar, but not quite. And not so long ago, it would have been a fitting name for it. Nowadays it has been cleaned up
I really liked the Frankfurt Xmas markets. The booths were very pretty. Lots of cute preschool aged kid groups on field trips. Yesterday we were in Marktheidenfeld/Lohr am Main. Not my favorite day, but I’ve been getting braver talking in German. In a bookstore yesterday the shop owner said I spoke very well! Highlight of the trip lol
Yummy!
House is decorated and finished my annual chocolate-almond biscotti gift boxes (trying to make fewer each year):
Christmas cards tomorrow and DONE! Humbug!
Beautiful night on San Diego Bay with great friends in a gorgeous boat. We were invited to go on a cruise again on 12/21 for the Christmas boat parade.
I wish I had friends with a boat on the bay! Are you going to be in the parade?
These friends are not part of the boat parade. They just take family and friends out to watch it.
Love it!!!
Just got back from this lovely place end of October - what a fantastic trip it was. Are you on a Viking cruise?
For the next two hours, yep. Leaving today
What a trip - already signed up for my London, Paris, DDay trip in 2027!
