i just think it doesn’t look good. Plus, please. Pink is associated with girls. don’t ruin that for us.

Pink shirts on men, means they are gay.
does it not?

since when do women want a Man to look like a women. Why do they now want cute men. What happened to the word Handsome and a Man is supposed to be a man. Big strong, hairy and a brute.

This country has really gone to heck. It just gets me going crazy. Because now in HS, Jocks dont even get the girls anymore, Its nerds who put on a pretty girly look.

Didnt women used to have a man for protection and security, for raising a child. I thought that was the whole point.

Now most women and stonger physicly and mentally that 60% of the men.

men in America are either Pussys, or gay.

or the majority are heros(firemen, police officers and soldiers.

You girls need to come to your senses,

hairy? er no thanks
just not too smooth

so you’d be happier if all girls go for jocks?

i’m attracted to handsome guys but i still like pink shirt w/ collar on guys (no pink vest or suit that’s just killing my eyes)

i like it when a guy wears pink once in a while, just not everyday.

Well I think women are starting to fall for the more sensitive, creative, and vulnerable guy these days. It doesn’t mean that a guy has to be gay, just not a arrogant jock. Look at the OC. Most girls are much more obsessed with Adam Brody than the other jock-ish guy. Look at how popular Hugh Grant and Johnny Depp are. Anyways, I don’t think that you have a right to tell who girls to be attracted to, just like you might not always fall for dumb bimbos. Unearth, are you American? If not, I’d love to know what country you come from.

yeah id love for all girls to go with jocks. when I was in Hs i was one and played 3 sports(football, westling and track)

yeah im American, I live in bronx, NY

A lot of girls do go for jocks, but a lot of jocks are ugly. Especially if they are heavy/overweight.

Wearing pink shirts is not a trend for me. I’ve been sporting the pink lacoste with the seersucker shorts since I was 6 and my parents still dressed me. I agree, for lamers that purchase their shirts at abercrombie or wear shirts that say “real men wear pink,” this trend should die. However, pink is a staple of any country club/boarding school male wardrobe.

Not any country club in New York, I assure you. Walk around the upper east side for a day and you’ll see the oldest money, preppiest (I mean, they invented preppy, as in the real preop, not a&f) guys and none of them would sink so low to as wear pink. I mean, the embarassment, they’d probably lose their inheritance for even thinking about it. No, old NY money is far more discreet than the whole popped collar trend. Now as for the upper west side…

hazmat, I’m shocked, I would have thought that your highschool would never indulge in the suburban fantasies of pink popped collars – so was I wrong?

I think you are confusing City Club and Country Club…hmmmmmmm

I say let them wear w/e they want–none of my concern

filmxoxo17: Well at least the preps that I know from NYC wear pink; most went to boarding schools in NE and not jappy NYC schools like Dalton,Collegiate, Trinity, etc.

Yeah I guess all the pink stuff is more of a bridge and tunnel thing and I don’t see that much of it. Its not as offensive as I made it sound, lol.
edit: I don’t know how collegiate can be a jappy school considering its a majority wasp all boys school… lol. ;)

they’re jewish american princes…lol

the guys i’ve met from there,at least at penn, were just a bit too jappy but there probably are many from collegiate that are preppy.

Im in Manhattan every day, all over as I work and go to school.

The only men I see wearing Pink shirts, are Black and Hispanic kids trying to act like “Cam’ron” a rapper. who doeant even sell any records.
Plus they are like 5’8 130 lbs, think their hard and wear a 6x t-shirt.

Why even wear pants if you need a shirt.

I do see many business men wearing pink shirts as part of a suit. Which can look nice, same with any light shade of green, purple or blue.

Looks great on a spring day, but these men do it because it actually looks nice on them.

The people we are talking about are either gay or just wnat to be somthing they are not.

I would never wear a Pink t-shirt or polo. Maybe a dress shirt with a suit, but i dont own one. I stick to blue or white.

and hazmat, you have no idea of what you are talking about. if you think their is more money in a country setting than in a city. Oh yeah bTW. werent country clubs made for and by city men who sometimes wanted to get away for the city and their work life.

NYC is the financial capital of the world

First of all, you live in the Bronx.
Point # 2, I think you misread my post because I said that people in the city are old money. I said upper east side. Do you know what that means? Okay…
Point # 3, what are you talking about???
Point # 4, I’m glad that you now understand.
:)

so what if I live in the Bronx, what does that mean?

and what are you talking about? Im backing you up in agreement.

I just meant to remind you that the Bronx isnt Manhattan. Also, your unedited post attacked me, not hazmat, for a point I never made. I’m glad that you edited it though.

Hello there unearth. You, sir were the one who used the words country club in your reference to NYC and what you see on the upper eastside. I am bringing to your attention that what you are seeing is folks going to/from city clubs not country clubs for I know of no country club in that location. I am not questioning how country clubs came to be or who started them. I am however pointing out that observing a bird in its nesting behavior and not in its migrating behavior…well I guess that is all I can say.

All the guys in my school wear pink shirts from American Eagle and Abercrombie and Fitch.

It’s not a gay thing to do anymore. Now it’s the rage in preppy land.

Me, I’m an independent.

well i go to school in manhatan(NYU) and work in manhattan. spend 13+ hrs a day in manhattan,.

I know it pretty well.

Im their now.
