This thread is already posted somewhere else, but in the wrong category, here is the correct one (hopefully…)
Hi, I am going into my sophomore year of high school this upcoming year, and I have some questions regarding the classes I should take that could prepare me for for this major. Here were my freshmen classes:
- Spanish II
- PE I (required, first semester)
- Study Hall (second semester)
- Honors English
- Honors Biology
- Concert Band
- Study Hall (first semester)
- Health (required, second semester)
- Honors Modern World History
- Honors Geometry (required)
Next year I’m taking
- Honors Spanish III
- Computer Applications (required, first semester)
- PE II (required, second semester)
- Honors English II
- Jazz Band
- Concert Band
- Honors Chemistry
- AP Gov
- Honors Precalculus
Junior:
- H Spanish IV
- Personal Finance (first semester)
- Study Hall (second semester)
- Honors English III
- Jazz Band (hopefully)
- Concert Band
- H. Physics
- APUSH
- AP or H Calculus
Senior:
- Study Hall
- Study Hall
- Honors English IV or other honors electives for English
- Jazz Band
- Concert Band
- Anatomy and Physiology
- AP Psych
- AP Stats
How does my schedule look? Also, in my senior year, I am looking to take an AP science class to fill in one of the study halls. I’m pretty sure AP Bio takes up two blocks, not sure about chem or physics (or enviro??). Which of these would help me prepare for college/help me the most.
Thanks!
Matt
