I am not a poet or a song writer. However, every now and then I do pretend to be. I wrote this poem while riding on a train with my wife from from Kitzbühel to Salzburg. Her reflection was in the window as I was looking out across the beautiful river (I think the Salzach River) we were riding along. The snow was was coming down very heavy. It was quite magical.
The poem goes like this:

Salzburg
Coffee steam and quiet dreams filter through my brain
while creeping through a mountain view on board a wintry train.
The reflection of your face dances perfectly in the snow.
Your smile, a precious gift, that I am blessed to know
The laughter you bestow rejuvenates my life.
You are my friend, my lover and my precious wife.
I love you more than all the world. Forever and ever.
