What are some good/must have AP Classes before going for a Pol Sci Major?

I don’t really there are any that are completely and totally necessary, but taking the AP humanities would be helpful. I learned how to write great papers in APUSH (that’ll depend on the teacher, of course). And taking either or both AP gov classes will help.

Well seeing my school has neither of the AP Gov Classes and lacks in Humanities, what would be some good options BESIDES self studying?

Dual enrollment at a nearby university/community college or taking online college courses in those missing AP fields could work; however, the credit might not transfer to wherever you end up going to college so you might end up retaking those level of courses (not to mention online college courses could be self-study based). Still, it’s worth consideration.

Does your school offer any dual-enrollment classes with a local college? If not, could you talk to your guidance counselor and see if you could take local college classes?

yeah but it’s too late for the fall semester and they seem to be lacking aswell since it would be a community college. I am considering Oregon State or Columbia (it’s in MO) for online classes.
