hey guys, I made my own political club and the first meeting is this friday. Any ideas on what to talk about (Aside from the elections obviously)?

Are you a talking club or a doing club? If so, also contact your local high party officials and government officials to get volunteer events up and running too. Normally these events are done for by purely pure Republican or Democrat clubs, but they will accept volunteers from anyone.

talking club.

i have a feeling, that after the election, we’ll become topic-less!

After the elections, there’s still PLENTY to talk about! Discuss how the new president is doing, issues that aren’t necessarily election-based (war, stem cell research, gay marriage, economics, so on and so forth). There’s always something to speak about in terms of politics. Just ask your club what they’re interested in.

Like NY suggested, are you guys interested in doing anything in the community? Raising political awareness? Or do you just want to be a “talking club”?
