<p>How good is the politics department at UVA? I have heard Sabato on TV a lot and was wondering what the students thought of the department.</p>

<p>It’s a really good department - one of UVA’s strongest disciplines.</p>

<p>Speaking of Sabato, he is really smart. He founded the UVA Center for Politics and even donated $1 million of his own money to make sure the center is top-notch. <a href=“http://www.centerforpolitics.org/[/url]”>http://www.centerforpolitics.org/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>Furthermore, he’s really good at predicting elections. In the past election, he predicted 97% of the governor’s races, 96% of the House races, and 100% of the Senate races correctly.
