SDMS we have sooo much in common

SDMS12, don’t you think you are some kind of special. You feel the need to express your opinion on everything here. You don’t need to comment on everyone’s everything. Or is that what you spend your time doing? Do you stay online all day and talk about how you are better than everyone and how everyone else can improve their lives? I think you do. I rest my case.

LMAO, dude are you stalking me? omg…

7th/8th- Math A
9th- geometry
10th- Math B
11th- Pre calc
12th- AP Calc AB

If I had stayed at 7/8 school, I’d be doing BC, but nooooo, I can’t because my school is too small and doesn’t offer it.

And… 8th grade at a different school than 9th, third school for 10th, and then back to 9th grade school for 11 and 12.
Dog blast you katrina.

6th: Pre-Algebra

11th: AP Calculus BC
12th: Unified Calculus III/ Differential Equations

I’m only up to there, I intend to take the rest of those courses. I took accelerated courses in middle school. I remember the program had a cut-off score of 70, I had a 73. Yeah, I hate math, I’m awful at it!

6th: Pre-Algebra
7th: Algebra 1
8th: Geometry
9th: Algebra 2

7th Pre-Algebra
8th Algebra 1
9th Geometry
10th Algebra 2 w/Trig
11th Math Analysis
12th AP Calculus BC

Mine changed. Here’s the new and improved one.

9th: IB SL Math Studies
10th: IB Computer Studies (sw33t!)
11th: AP-IB Calculus (basically AB/HL Prep)
12th: IB HL Math

I’m so excited for Computer Studies! Next year will be teh first year my school offers it.

7th: Pre-Algebra
8th: Algebra I
9th: Geometry
10th: Algebra II

12: Calculus 2/3 +2

9= Algebra 1
10= Geometry
11= Alg. 2 / Precal *
Summer= College Calc 1. College Calc for Business.
12= College Calc 2. (If possible, continue to College Calc. 3)

So far, Im up to here.

7th - Pre-algebra
8th - Algebra 1
9th - Intro to Algebra 2
10th - Geometry and Algebra 2
11th - Pre-cal
12th - AP Calc AB

This is the highest level our school offers (east TN). The Algebra 2 is split into two classes due to our school’s block scheduling making it hard to cover all the material.

Wow, overachievers. I’m from a small town. Not many advanced classes are available.

9th - Algebra 1 Honors
10th - Geometry Honors and Algebra 2 (only one group of students take two maths during their sophmore year, so that’s me being ‘ahead’ of everyone else.)
11th - Trig
12th - Calculus (only 16 people in my school are taking this, so that explains why there’s no fancy ‘AP’ or other capital letters in front of it) >.<'

Alg 2, Trig and Calculus are already considered honors classes since so little people take them…

I took regular 7th and 8th grade math, im not sure what exactl you would call that.
Then in 9th grade I took Algebra I
10th grade: Geometry
11th Grade: Trig & Statistics
Summer of 11th grade: Pre-Calc at local SUNY school
12th Grade: AP Calc

I took the summer course because i wanted to take Calc, not because it was required or anything. and If i didnt take it during the summer, I would have had to take pre calc during my senior year.

ps…i also go to a small school, where very few ap courses are offered.

6th: Regular Math
7th: Algebra 1 (was the only kid to make the jump from reg -> alg)
8th: Geometry
9th: Alg/Trig
10th: AP Stats
11th: Math Analysis/IB Math SL
12th: AP Calc BC

I was a math beast as a youngster, then I got either A. Lazy B. Stupid, not sure. I could beat the teachers at addition and multiplication, but once they started throwing letters in there my brain got stuck.

5th- Pre Algebra
6th- Algebra 1
7th- Algebra 1
8th- Algebra 2
9th- Algebra 2 Honors
10th- Geometry Honors
11th- Pre-Calc Honors
12th- Calc AB

So in conclusion I was on pace to take Calc BC as a sophomore and am taking the class below it as a senior. Thank you ACT for allowing me to be lazy. It’s not as if I’m going into a math field though…

6th – Pre Algebra
7th – Algebra I
8th – Alg I/Geometry
took Geometry in summer and independent studied Alg II
9th – Trig/Precal
10th – AP Calculus BC
11th – Calculus III/Linear Algebra
12th – None/Diff. Eqs

I’m really right-brain and I hate math with a burning firey passion.

9th: Honors Algebra I
10th: Honors Geometry (big mistake; I almost failed this class)
11th: CP1 Algebra II
12th: CP Statistics and Probability

I never took pre-algebra (Catholic school… I didn’t learn anything in nine years there) and I’m only taking Stats and Probability because it’s an easy elective and I need 2.5 more math credits to graduate.

8th- Algebra I
9th- Honors Geometry
*10th- Honors Algebra II BC and AP Statistics
11th- Honors Precalculus BC [since gc won’t let me take it over the summer to free up schedule room…agh]
12th- AP Calculus BC

I absolutely love Math.
9th-Alg 1 Critical Thinking
10th-Alg 2 Honors/Precalculas
11th-Will take Calc AB and BC
12th-Multivariate Calc

I self taught myself Geometry.
