6th grade: Pre-Algebra
7th grade: No idea…
8th grade: Algebra I

And then there was this test we had to take at the end of middle school to see who qualified for Honors math in high school, and I had a very distracting incident which caused me to be thrown in the lower level math (College Prep)

9th grade: Geometry CP
10th grade: Algebra 2 CP

And then I flipped out at the math department because I was getting 100s in those classes while sleeping most of the class, so I got bumped up to Honors finally.

11th grade: Pre-Calculus Honors

And then scheduling sucked, so I couldn’t fit in AP Calculus AB

12th grade: AP Statistics

6: Random stuff lol
7: Algebra 1
8: Geometry
9: Algebra 2
10: Pre-Cal AB (couldn’t fit me in BC :()

I guess AP Calc AB junior year and idk what senior year.

6th: I have NO idea
7th: Found Algebra II “I think that is what it is called ?”
8th: Algebra I
9th: Geometry
10th: Algebra II
Predicting
11th: Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry “It is how my school does it, both in one class.”
12th: AP Calculus AB

Mine didnt make much sense

6th grade: Random
7th grade: Pre Algebra
8th grade: Algebra 1
9th grade: Geometry(no honors version)
Summer in between: Intermediate Algrebra
10th grade: Advanced Algebra Honors 10th grade fall: Precalculus 10th grade spring: calculus 1
Summer in between: Calculus 2
11th grade(known/predicted): AP Stats Fall: Multivariable Spring Diff Eq
12th: I have no idea

I’m in the average group for math but I pretty much suck at it

6th: regular random 6th grade math
7th: Pre algebra
8th: Algebra I
9th: Geometry
10th: Algebra II
11th: (future): no math (:D)
12th: (future) Not sure, probably Statistics or some other stupid math couse required for graduation

For those wondering I’m not taking a math course junior year because I have juggle my schedule to take IB Spanish ab Initio I and II J/S years (seeing that my top career pick atm is a german/spanish teacher foreign language is much more important than math I will never use)

7th: Algebra I
8th: Geometry
9th: Honors Algebra II
9/10 summer: Self Study Pre Calc
10th: AP Calculus AB
11th: AP Calculus BC
12th: Calculus III/ Calc IV / Diff EQs (Dual enrollment)

7th grade MathCounts and Pre Al. (with trig)
8th grade Al. 1
9th grade Geometry (with trig)
10th grade Al. 2
11th grade Functions (pre-calc with advanced Al. and trig)
12th grade AP Calc AB and BC

freshman year: Honours Algebra I
sophomore year: Honours Geometry
summer after sophomore year: Pass/Fail Algebra II at another high school in the area
junior year: Honours Pre-Calculus
senior year (tentative): AP Calculus BC

Not really a math sequence because I am going to/have run out of classes to take
6: Pre-algebra (Not called this, but yeahhh)
7: Algebra 1
8: Self studied and skipped geometry, so Alg 2
9: Self studied and skipped Precal, teacher suggested I move up from AB so Calc Bc
10: Ap Stats (so i could get national ap scholar)
11: Um, currently it’s indepdent study mtv calc, but O might include some lin alg/combinatorics
12: Group Theory? Abstract Algebra? Whatever I feel like tbh

some of you are taking calc bc sophomore year and im taking algebra 2…smh.

7th Grade: Pre-Algebra
8th Grade: Advanced Algebra
9th Grade: Algebra (for one trimester for some reason?) Then Advanced Geometry in the last trimester.
10th: Since my school district is so incompetent they decided to put me in Geometry again, even though i aced it last year, i should be getting switched to Algebra 2 next week though.
(What i should be taking for the rest of high school)
11th: Pre-Cal and Calc AB
12th: Statistics

lets do this…

8th- Algebra 1
9th- Geometry Honors
10th (currently)- Algebra 2 Honors
And then I’ll probably take precalc then AB or do precalc over the summer so I can do AB and BC or AB and stats.
My middle school didn’t offer Geometry in middle school even in my advanced classes, and it’s fairly common at the school I go to now for kids to be doing Algebra 2 in 9th grade. My math class is 85% frosh, and it makes me feel really dumb in comparison :P

8th: algebra 1
9th: geometry
10th: algebra 2
11th: trig/ pre calc
12: calc (no AP offered so I might self study)

7th Grade: Accelerated Algebra 1
8th Grade: Mathematics 1&2 (Geometry and Alg 2)
Moved for high school, and was set back
9th Grade: Algebra 2H and Geometry H
10th Grade: Pre-CalcH and AP Statistics

6th: Normal Math
7th: Algebra 1 (skipped pre algebra)
8th: Geometry
9th: Algebra 2
10th: Precalculus w/ Trig (hopefully)
11th: AP Calc (hopefully)
12th: dunno

S took:

6: General Math
7: Algebra I
8: Geometry
9: Honors Algebra II
10: Honors Trigonometry/Honors Analytic Geometry
11; AP Calc AB (got a 5)
12: AP Calc BC (current)

OP, have you considered taking math at local college or CC? I have a relative who finished all of his HS math by end of sophomore year and went to local colleges for math junior and senior year.
