7th: nothing! my math class was a complete joke. One of the reasons I switched schools
8th: skipped this grade
9th: Algebra 1 and Geometry (2 math classes in 1 year)
10: Algebra 2
11: Pre-Cal

Next year Iām taking Calculus. Wooooooooooooo!!! (<ā sarcasm)

8th grade: Algebra 1
9th grade: Algebra 1
(taking Geometry over the summer)
10th grade: Algebra 2
(taking Pre-Calculus over the summer)
11th grade: AP Calculus AB
12th grade: AP Statistics

Pre-Calc summer course
12th - AP Calc. AB + AP Stats.

But this is only because I switched schools after freshman year (*my old school had screwed up math sequences. Then again, every class there was a messā¦). If I actually went to my current school back then, it wouldāve looked like this:

8th - Pre-Algebra
9th - Algebra I
10th - Geometry + Algebra II
Pre-Calc summer course
11th - AP Calc. AB + Finite Mathematics [M118 - IU College Course]
12th - AP Calc. BC + AP Stats.

6th grade: Idk. Probably Pre Pre Algebra if that even exists
7th Grade: Pre Algebra
8th Grade: Algebra
9th Grade: Honors Algebra 1 (Idk why I had to take it again if I passed it in 8th grade)
10th Grade: Honors Geometry
11th Grade: Honors Algebra 2
12th Grade: Honors Pre Calc and AP Stats

It doesnāt sound the best but I probably would have been in AP Calculus by now if my counselor had put me in the right class freshman year or if I had took both geometry and algebra 2 sophomore year. I guess Im gonna deal with calculus in college

7th Honors Algebra I
8th Honors Geometry
9th Honors Algebra II
10th Honors Precalculus with Trigonometry
11th AP Calculus BC
12th AP Statistics (screwed up really bad by taking BC Calc this year, so no Multivariable for me next yearā¦)

7th- Prealgebra
8th- Algebra I+II
9th- Geometry and Stats
10th- Pre Calc
11th- Calc AB-Dual Enrollment and Probably AP Stat at school
12th-Calc C or Discrete Math/Diff Eq or Linear Algebra-Dual Enrollment

I havenāt taken math at my school since 7th gradeā¦I actually go to a separate thing that leads into the dual enrollment program.

6th : Pre-Algebra (1 yr ahead)
7th : Algebra I Honors (1 yr ahead)
8th : Geometry Honors (1 yr ahead)
9th : Algebra II Honors (1 yr ahead)
*10th : AP Statistics (2 yrs ahead)
*11th : Pre-Calculus Honors
*12th : AP Calculus

The traditional sequence in my school is:
7th: Pre-Algebra
8th: Algebra I
9th: Geometry
10th: Algebra II
11th: Pre-Calc
12th: Calculus / Statistics
