<p>I feel like I’m screwed because I’m skipping Pre-Calc…</p>
<p>7th: Pre-Algebra (1 year ahead)
8th: Algebra 1 (No honors available1 year ahead)
9th: Geometry (I requested honors but got put in regular. I have no clue why. I was 2 years aheadmost people took Informal Geometry before geometry.)
10th: Algebra 2 Honors. (Again I was 2 years ahead.)
11th: Trigonometry/Analytic Geometry. (I was 2 years ahead; because most kids don’t get there before graduation. Pre-Calc or Trig/Analytic Geo is a prerequisite to Calc.)
12th: I plan on taking Calc Honors, which is advanced because most kids don’t make it this far.</p>
<p>I also plan on Dual Enrolling and taking college Stats and then taking the AP test next year. (The AP Class isn’t available.)</p>

<p>How do people even take Algebra 1 in 7th grade or earlier?</p>
<p>The earliest opportunity that we get to take it is in 8th grade. At the end of 7th grade, you pretty much fill out your 8th grade course selection sheet and choose either Math 8 (usually B students or lower) or Algebra 1 (A or high B students). We get no opportunities before this.</p>
