Poor mother--rich father?

But they can and they do, don’t they? Why should a divorce change that? Maybe married parents should have their wages garnished when they refuse to pay for college for their kids. Maybe the children of married parents should be able to choose their school based on their parents’ income, the more they make, the more they have to pay for the kid to go to college. If they can’t pay, throw them in jail for a month and then ask again. We can fix the whole college financing problem right now. Who needs retirement anyway?</p>
